Somewhere is a video object about transition and rapid existence. An old wooden ladder,a monitor screening a speeding road and mirrored steps reflecting the video loop, are used to depict the arch of time where acceleration away from and toward are the states of a contemporary mind.

"To go nowhere, even to ride around in a deserted quarter or on a crowded freeway, now seems natural for the voyeur, voyager in his car. On the contrary, to stop, to park, are unpleasant operations and the driver even resents going somewhere or toward someone."
